From the beginning, the vision was clear. A meaningful journey should not start only when a guest reaches the lodge or enters the wilderness. It should begin earlier, with welcome, with grounding, and with the feeling of being thoughtfully received.

That belief continues to shape everything at Souls Connection Safaris.

Where the story began

On December 31st 2025, Souls Connection Safaris was launched in a setting that reflected its heart.

There was no grand event, no elaborate hall, no formal production. Just a sitting room, our pastors’ family, my family, our mother, and a quiet gathering that felt deeply aligned with the kind of company this was meant to become.

It was intimate, warm, and personal. Exactly the kind of beginning that made sense for a safari brand rooted in presence and genuine hospitality.

We were ready to welcome guests. But life opened another chapter first.

A different kind of beginning

Our mother had come to stay with us while seeking medical attention. What we expected to be a short visit became a longer season when doctors discovered she needed surgery and continued treatment.

The early days of building Souls Connection Safaris became filled with hospital visits, waiting rooms, family care, and the steady emotional work that seasons like that require.

The hosting we had imagined did not unfold the way we expected.

Yet in that season, something important was taking shape.

After a successful operation, our mother returned home to recover. Gradually, the home became full of visitors. Family and friends came regularly to see her. Tea was poured. Chairs were moved around. Conversations unfolded. Laughter returned to the room.

Without planning it, the values behind Souls Connection Safaris were already being practiced.

Presence. Care. Connection.

Souls Connection Safaris did not begin in the savannah. It began in a living room.

Why this work matters

Many safaris begin with logistics. Flights, transfers, check-ins, vehicles, schedules.

But travel can move quickly, and when it does, something meaningful can be lost. Guests may arrive in Kenya tired from long journeys and move straight into a timetable before they have fully arrived emotionally.
