    The Souls Host Commitment


    A safari is a significant investment of time, trust, and resources. Souls Connection Safaris carries real responsibility for how that experience feels. 

    This Host Commitment exists so guests see, in plain language, what is being promised—and what Souls is prepared to risk to honour that promise.

    Clarity in pricing and inclusions


    Pricing and inclusions are laid out in full before a journey is confirmed—no hidden extras, no surprise line items. 

    Proposals clearly show what is included, what is not included, and any items that are estimated or subject to change.

    If Souls falls short:


    If a genuine mistake on the Souls side leads to a cost that was not clearly disclosed in the confirmed proposal, Souls will absorb or refund that cost up to a reasonable amount rather than passing it on without discussion. 

    The goal is simple: guests do not pay for Souls’ errors in communication.


    Thoughtful routing and trusted partners


    Journeys are designed using routes, lodges, and guides that have been carefully vetted for safety, service, and alignment with quiet luxury and conservation values. 

    Partners are chosen because they consistently deliver strong experiences for high-end guests, not because they are simply available.

    If Souls falls short:


    If a booked service arranged by Souls is significantly below the standard that was described in the proposal due to an avoidable planning error (for example, a wrong room category, missed special request, or material mismatch in expectations), Souls will take responsibility for making it right. 

    That may include arranging an alternative of equal or higher standard at Souls’ cost where possible, or offering an appropriate credit toward a future journey.



    Hosted support before and during travel


    From first contact to final goodbye, a named host remains responsible for the journey. Questions are answered clearly, and updates are shared proactively when conditions change. During travel, guests have access to assistance for reasonable changes, clarifications, or unexpected needs.

    If Souls falls short:


    If Souls is unreasonably slow to respond to an urgent matter that is clearly within its control during the journey, and that delay creates avoidable inconvenience or additional cost, Souls will work to correct the situation at its own expense where feasible—for example, covering change fees caused by miscommunication on Souls’ side or providing a meaningful gesture of goodwill.


    Honest guidance, even when it costs business


    Sometimes the best advice is to adjust timing, reduce the number of stops, or even postpone travel altogether. Recommendations are made based on what serves the guest’s wellbeing, safety, and desired kind of connection.

    If Souls falls short:


    If it becomes clear that a recommended plan is not realistic or aligned with what was expressed in early conversations—and this is due to inadequate listening or guidance on the Souls side—guests can expect transparent discussion, options to simplify or adjust without punitive fees from Souls (within the limits of partner policies), and support in finding a configuration that genuinely fits.




    Some elements of a safari are outside any host’s control: weather, wildlife movements, airline operations, and the independent policies of third-party partners. 

    The Souls Host Commitment applies to what Souls can reasonably take responsibility for—planning, communication, and the quality of decisions made on a guest’s behalf. Full legal details are set out in the Booking Terms & Conditions shared with each proposal.
